Voiding a Transaction
This document will go over how to void a same-day transaction. You need to understand how your processing gateway works before you try to void a transaction. Some processors do not allow same-day voids, so this function will not work in that case. Also, note that if a credit card is run as a debt, you will get a message stating that the payment has already been posted to the gateway, and you cannot void the transaction at that point. You will have deleted the sale in the user profile and do a return to change the transaction.

To begin, navigate to your open cash register and click the [Options] button.
Step 1
Then click on the [Sales in Current Till] button.
Step 2
Now, find and select the transaction you need to void, then click on the [Void Entire Sale] button.
Step 3
The system will verify that you want to void the transaction if it is correct, then click [Yes].
