To begin go to the tools tab located on the top left of your screen, then click on Combining Duplicate Members on the the left menu list.

This will bring up the combining members page. From here you will select the original member profile. Click the search button in the upper right of the box and type in the customer's name. This should bring up all accounts in the system that the customer has created. Once you locate the original profile highlight it and click [OK].

Tip: If you do not know which account is the original or the account you want to keep, then you need to ask the customer to verify the address listed or look to see when the account was added. Most of the time as long as the address has not changed it is the oldest account is the one you will want to keep. The thing to remember here is that when you combine the accounts it brings over all transactions and puts them under the same profile. The only thing the system deletes is the customer's information. (Address, phone number, and email address....etc.)

Once you have selected the account you are keeping, you will then select the other account that needs to be combined. Then you will click [Combine Members].

Note: Remember once you have clicked combine member you cannot undo it. Attached is a video that walks you through each step that was outlined above.
